Job Description

This is a remote position.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Indian university.

Requirements

Experience

• Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.

• Experience in both frontend and backend testing.

• Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Background in testing web applications, mobile applications, and desktop applications.

• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.

• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Certifications (Preferred)

• ISTQB Certified Tester.

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT).

• Certification in relevant automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium Certification).

Local Expertise

• Familiarity with the local tech ecosystem in Hyderabad or Bangalore.

• Experience working with leading tech companies or startups in the region.

• Knowledge of the local job market and industry trends.

Other

• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Ability to create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) or test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
