We are Ware Girl Productions, based in Dallas, United States, and are looking to hire a videographer for a single job with the potential for follow-up work. The project will require the freelancer to be onsite in Dallas for the full duration, which is expected to be up to a week. We seek someone with skills in video and animation, ideally at the junior level, to support our company. The exact project details will be discussed further with suitable candidates and we are currently in the planning and research phase.

This project is a character-driven comedy-drama series. The tone is grounded and natural — not slapstick, not exaggerated sitcom energy.

Visually, I’m looking for:

• Clean, cinematic framing
• Warm but realistic lighting
• Dialogue-focused coverage
• Subtle camera movement
• Intimate, character-driven blocking

The themes center on:

• Family tension
• Moral dilemmas
• Subtle spiritual undertones
• Southern Black life
• Humor emerging from real emotional conflict

The style is closer to modern streaming dramedy than traditional multi-camera sitcom.

This is the beginning of a long-term production company, so I’m looking for collaborators interested in building across multiple episodes.
