Job Description

Carbon Residential is hiring a local Birmingham-area content creator to shoot organic, authentic video content for two of our multifamily properties located in Birmingham and Hoover, AL. The project requires an in-person video shoot within the next 7–10 days, focusing on creating engaging videos that prompt viewers to say, “I want to live there!”

Requirements

• Must be local to the Birmingham/Hoover area
• 10K followers or LESS (we want authentic — not celebrity influencers)
• Experience creating property, lifestyle, or real estate content
• Strong eye for composition and natural lighting
• Available for immediate start (within 7–10 days)
• Portfolio required
• Option 2 applicants must demonstrate editing skills

Content Deliverables

Content needed includes:

• 10–15 short-form videos (15–60 seconds each, TikTok/IG Reels style)
• Mix of property tours, amenity showcases, lifestyle content, and neighborhood vibes
• Variety of content including property exteriors, amenity showcases, unit interiors, and community spaces

Options for Deliverables

OPTION 1: Raw Footage Only

• Budget: $600–$800
• What You Deliver: 10–15 raw video clips (no editing required), iPhone quality acceptable, both horizontal and vertical orientations, files transferred via Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer, delivery within 5–7 days after shoot.

OPTION 2: Fully Edited Videos

• Budget: $1,200–$1,600
• What You Deliver: 10–15 fully edited videos ready to post, optimized for TikTok/IG Reels (vertical 9:16 format), trendy music, text overlays, transitions, color graded and polished, delivered in high-quality MP4 format, timeline: 7–10 days after shoot, includes 1 round of revisions.

Payment Structure

• 50% deposit upfront
• 50% upon delivery of final files
• Payment via Upwork escrow or direct deposit

Usage Rights

• Full commercial usage rights are required for all content
• Content may be used across social media, paid ads, website, and marketing materials
• Perpetual license (Carbon Residential retains ownership)
• No exclusivity required on your end
• Work-for-hire agreement will be provided
