Job Description
We are seeking an experienced marketing events contractor for an 8-month, fixed-term engagement to ensure continuity of Cloud ERP Private marketing events. This role requires the ability to onboard quickly, ramp rapidly, and assume end-to-end ownership of an active event portfolio with minimal disruption. The contractor will drive the planning and execution of Cloud ERP Private marketing events through disciplined project management and strong cross-functional coordination. This engagement is highly executional and operational, managing event timelines, logistics, communications, and deliverables end-to-end, aligning closely with Line of Business (LOB) and Market Unit (MU) stakeholders to ensure programs are on-brand and delivered with excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, event marketing, or program management
- Proven experience managing in-person and virtual marketing events end-to-end
- Demonstrated ability to onboard quickly and operate independently in an existing program
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience partnering with LOB, field, or regional marketing stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Website and event page development experience is a plus
- Experience in enterprise or matrixed organizations is an asset
Engagement Details
- 8-month contract position covering a parental leave
- Fixed-term, project-based engagement with an active in-flight event portfolio
- Required onboarding period followed by rapid ramp to full ownership
- High collaboration with LOB, MU, and cross-functional marketing teams
- Remote with regular working sessions
Core Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Execution:
- Onboard to existing event plans and take ownership of Cloud ERP Private marketing events.
- Manage logistics including registration, agendas, speakers, vendors, and execution.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Establish strong working relationships quickly with LOB and MU stakeholders.
- Manage communications across multiple platforms and teams.
- Operational Excellence & Reporting:
- Step into existing tools, processes, and reporting with minimal onboarding time.
- Track event plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
Deliverables
- Seamless continuation of Cloud ERP Private event programs during the 8-month parental leave coverage
- Executed in-person and virtual events delivered on time and to plan
- Maintained and updated project plans, timelines, and status communications
- Event websites or registration pages (as applicable)
- Post-event wrap-ups and reporting support
What Success Looks Like
- The contractor ramps quickly and assumes full ownership of the event portfolio with minimal disruption
- Cloud ERP Private events continue seamlessly throughout the maternity leave period
- Stakeholders experience continuity, clear communication, and dependable execution
- Event execution remains consistent, reliable, and aligned to GTM priorities
- Programs effectively support Cloud ERP Private go-to-market objectives

Location: Fully Remote (within USA)
Pay Range: 40k-54k/annum
