Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our Summer Camp team from June 21st to July 31st, Summer 2026. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with kids, an artistic vision, and technical expertise in photography and videography. This role requires an individual who is passionate about capturing compelling images and videos, while also being proficient in post-production techniques. The Photographer will work closely with the Camp Director and Camp Counselors to deliver high-quality visual content that meets project objectives. Camp Hometown Heroes serves children who have lost a parent that served in the military, and Camp Reunite serves children who have parents who are incarcerated. The job will consist of 6, 5-hour days from Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs and videos for various projects, including Camper Photos, Cabin Photos, and End of Week slideshow.
• Be able to walk many steps around our Camp facility.
• Knowledge in Smug Mug.
• Maintain an organized digital archive of all images and videos captured.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in photography and videography technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles.
• Experience in film production and videography is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of color management principles to ensure consistency across all visual media.
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative eye for composition and lighting.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with Campers and other Camp Staff.
