Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to support a key project focused on developing applications for connected TVs and set-top boxes. These applications are built directly into the devices and are responsible for managing customer subscriptions, purchases, and user interactions. This position plays a central role in building, maintaining, and enhancing front-end features, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and overall application quality.

Requirements

Job at a glance:

• 10-month contract (Possibility of temp to perm)
• $60/hr + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
• On-site (Philadelphia, PA)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain front-end applications for smart TVs and set-top boxes.
• Build clean, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using JavaScript and modern frameworks (Angular, React, etc.).
• Work with Node.js to support front-end build processes, integrations, and services.
• Implement unit tests using Jest and ensure code quality through automated testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and support continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and QA teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI related issues across device platforms.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (core requirement).
• Experience with at least one modern JS framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Experience writing unit tests with Jest.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week.
