Job Description

DRC is one of the largest educational assessment and curriculum/instruction companies in the industry. We are seeking a temporary Media Specialist to join our team, reporting directly to the Manager of Media and Composition in DRC’s corporate office in Maple Grove, Minnesota, for approximately 4 months. Remote candidates will be considered.

In this role, you will be responsible for modifying and maintaining graphics, ensuring strict adherence to DRC and client-/project-specific styles and specifications. You will utilize the established processes within DRC’s proprietary item banking system, IDEAS, as necessary.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities:

• High level of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
• Knowledge of print and web production
• Ability to create tech-enhanced items (e.g., bubble input, drag and drop, hotspot, click to respond, layered input) for online presentation in INSIGHT (proprietary software)
• Use IDEAS item bank and its related tools to maintain process efficiencies
• Adhere to specific client design styles and requirements
• Collaborate effectively within the team and with other production teams and business units
• Be task oriented, and a focused self-starter who can meet tight deadlines
• Well-developed, professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups of people

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, or Associate’s degree in Illustration, Digital Illustration, or similar, with a diverse liberal arts background
• Understand basic CSS for online development
• Experience with large scale assessment test design
