Job Description

Position Title: Senior Control M Developer & Data Engineer

The Senior Control M Developer & Data Engineer is responsible for data migration and optimizing legacy orchestration workflows from Tidal to Control-M. The role aims to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure the continuity of business services through effective administration and management of the Control-M environment. The developer will also work on automating testing and deployment processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align workflows with business requirements.

Requirements

- Proficient in data migration and orchestration workflow optimization.

- Experience with Control-M job creation and administration on Windows.

- Knowledge in building job flows, managing calendar requirements, and creating job dependencies.

- Ability to develop automated testing scripts using Shell and Python.

- Experience in implementing scripts for automated deployment of Control-M job definitions and smart folders.

- Familiarity with reporting facilities and creating relevant reports.

- Experience with Service Now for managing scheduling requests, incidents, and problems.

- Ability to conduct proof-of-concept testing for cloud integration with AWS-hosted workloads.

- Support for Agile ceremonies and collaboration with teams to meet business needs.

Additional Information

- Support the migration initiatives preparing for Helix Control-M adoption, including workflow analysis and automation standards.

- Strong emphasis on testing scenarios for job failures to ensure error handling and alerting mechanisms are well established.
