Job Description

We are looking for a freelance video contractor to tell our stories. Projects include, but are not limited to, interview-style videos with members of our congregation, creative informational videos about events, and full-length teaching and/or worship videos. The ideal person for this job would have previous start-to-finish video filming and editing experience, be self-motivated, efficient, narrative-driven and have or acquire an understanding of Vineyard Maryville in order to create content that projects our identity.

• Filming video on campus and on location
• Working with creative team, other staff, and our congregation to plan video shoots
• Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment
• Editing footage after recording
• Adding computer graphics, closed captioning and special effects to footage
• Preparing B-roll

Requirements

Previous start-to-finish video filming and editing experience.

Self-motivated, efficient, and narrative-driven.

Ability to understand the identity of Vineyard Maryville for content creation.

Additional Information

Projects: 2 per week on average

Directly Reports to: David Hawkins/Sharon McCarter

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $250.00 - $1,000.00 per month
