Job Description

We are looking for a freelance Creative Strategist to support one of our consumer wellness brand clients. This role is focused on translating marketing direction into clear, executable campaign plans across social, creators, and occasional offline activations. This is not a purely conceptual role; the position is centered on structuring ideas, building briefs, and helping teams move efficiently from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

Campaign Development Support
· Help develop creative concepts across social content, creators, partnerships, and activations

· Translate brand insights and strategy into practical content concepts and platform-specific angles

· Ensure ideas are feasible and execution-ready

· Adapt campaign direction for multiple creators and formats

Brief Writing & Documentation
· Write clear creator and production briefs

· Define messaging guardrails, deliverables, and timelines

· Organize campaign thinking into structured presentations and summaries

· Ensure stakeholders and creative teams understand expectations

Execution Alignment
· Collaborate with account, creative, and media teams to refine concepts

· Incorporate feedback and update documentation quickly

· Maintain consistency across multiple campaign pieces

· Identify potential gaps before production begins

Communication
· Present ideas in a concise, organized way

· Translate feedback into actionable next steps

· Support ongoing campaign organization and clarity

Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in creative strategy, brand strategy, or a related role (agency experience preferred).

· Strong understanding of digital, social, and content ecosystems.

· Proven ability to translate insight into clear, actionable creative direction.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfortable balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on execution.

· Experience with consumer brands (wellness, lifestyle, beauty, food, or CPG preferred)

· Experience writing creative or influencer briefs

· Familiarity with creator-led marketing and social platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts)

· 5+ years of experience in creative strategy, brand strategy, or a related role (agency experience preferred).

Role Details

· Part-time freelance (approx. 15–20 hours/week)

· Remote

· Availability during standard business hours (EST) for collaboration

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
