Job Description
Puck is a company that focuses on enhancing job descriptions by highlighting the teams behind open roles, incorporating mini-podcasts to improve candidate and employer profiles. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Producer to join our team part-time, dedicated to transforming the hiring process and making it more human.
In this role, you will interview senior leaders across various industries to create compelling, narrative-driven employer branding content. The ideal candidate will possess a keen editorial instinct, excel at identifying engaging narratives, and craft content that resonates with professional audiences.
Requirements
- 1+ years professional experience in audio production, preferably with a radio station or podcast.
- Ability to convey interview-based stories in a clear and engaging manner for listeners.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Capacity to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about audio storytelling, particularly in branded content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hosting and engineering remote interviews.
- Familiarity with ProTools and Descript editing workflows.
- Background in marketing content development.
What You’ll Do
- Host and produce podcasts with senior leaders across industries.
- Craft clear narratives that showcase leadership insights and brand positioning.
- Coordinate podcast timing, working around external schedules.
- Develop interview topics and questions based on publicly available information.
- Remotely engineer interviews to optimize sound quality.
- Mix audio and use tools to achieve high-quality sound (e.g., iZotope RX, Adobe Enhance Speech).
- Provide insights back to the Puck team based on guest experiences.
Time Commitment
- Expected ~10-20 hours per week, with some variability.
- Must be available to meet during business hours with podcast guests.
