Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Product Photographer/Videographer to join our team for two days each week. This role involves capturing high-quality images and videos of liquidation items to enhance online listings, social media content, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in photography, videography, and post-production editing, with a keen eye for color management and art direction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your visual storytelling talents in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Photograph and film liquidation items, ensuring clear, appealing visuals that highlight product features.
- Edit photos using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Capture One to achieve optimal color accuracy and aesthetic quality.
- Produce engaging videos utilizing Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro for social media campaigns and promotional content.
- Manage color correction and color theory application to maintain consistent branding standards across all visuals.
- Conduct post-production editing, photo manipulation, and art direction to create compelling product presentations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual content aligned with brand messaging and sales goals.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries for easy access and efficient workflow management.
- Stay updated on current trends in photography, videography, and social media management to ensure content remains fresh and engaging.
Requirements
- Proven experience in photography, videography, and post-production editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere), Capture One, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of color management principles and color theory to produce visually appealing content.
- Skills in photo editing, photo manipulation, art direction, filming, and video production.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content optimization strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
- Prior experience in sales or retail environments is a plus but not required.
