Project Overview: We are developing a high-quality animated mythological epic series based on the early generational events of the Kuru dynasty, leading into the larger Mahabharata universe. The series explores themes of dharma, vows, destiny, generational trauma, power, and moral conflict through the character arcs of Shantanu, Ganga, Bhishma, Parashurama, and others. This is designed as a long-form franchise IP with multiple seasons planned, beginning with Season 1 covering the rise of Bhishma and the political and spiritual foundations of Hastinapur. The tone is mythic but grounded, politically intense, emotionally heavy, and visually cinematic with mature storytelling for adults. We have completed the script for Season 1, defined character arcs, created a power system, and designed major environments. We are looking for experienced concept artists and visual development artists to help create finalized character and environment concept artworks and contribute to a visual identity bible.
