Job Description

Babel Audio works with major technology companies globally to collect audio data for training AI models. We are looking for thoughtful and expressive individuals to engage in natural, unscripted 15-minute conversations with another participant. The discussions are designed to capture genuine human interaction, emotional presence, and authentic dialogue without fixed roles or prompts. This is a fully remote, freelance position that offers flexibility in work hours and workload.

Requirements

• Fluency in English with clear speech and strong conversational skills.
• Comfortable speaking confidently and engaging with new people.
• Reliable and detail-oriented, able to follow project guidelines carefully.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in 15-minute recorded conversations with a matched partner.
• Select topics collaboratively and discuss them in a natural manner.
• Listen actively and respond with genuine interest.
• Ensure consistent, clear audio throughout each session.

Compensation

• Starting pay of $17.50 per recorded hour.
• Additional performance-based incentives may be available.

Technical Requirements

• A desktop or laptop computer (tablets or phones are not accepted).
• An external or USB microphone (preferred for optimal audio quality).
• A stable and reliable internet connection.
