Job Description

WEBTOON Entertainment is a leading global entertainment company and home to some of the world’s largest storytelling platforms. They are looking for a Motion Designer & Content Creator who possesses a storyteller’s mind and a filmmaker’s instinct. The ideal candidate should have a distinct creative point of view, comedic flair, strong copywriting/scripting skills, and experience in video editing and motion graphics. This role involves crafting short-form video content that evokes emotion and connects with audiences, leveraging platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in a creative agency, production company, or in-house entertainment team, with a focus on ad content, trailers, branded content, or entertainment marketing.
• A storyteller first, designer second; strong focus on pacing, emotion, and structure.
• Strong copywriting/scripting background; willingness to experiment with various writing styles.
• Clear and reliable communication skills; ability to adapt to fast-paced timelines and collaborate closely with operations leads.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition); experience with additional animation or VFX tools is beneficial, and 3D animation knowledge is a plus.
• Comfortable with character rigging and a strong understanding of animation principles.
• A creative with a strong online presence or portfolio; bonus for experience in webcomic, animation, or fandom content.
• Comfortable collaborating or independently managing projects end-to-end.
• Passionate about comics, animation, gaming, and storytelling.
• Brings humor, heart, and creativity to all work; a positive and adaptable teammate focused on process and output quality.
• Willing to learn new skills to enhance design or writing capabilities.

Required

• A portfolio/reel showcasing professional motion design and storytelling work, highlighting unique tone of voice, artistic range, and creative point of view.
