Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Podcast Booker who can oversee guest acquisition for several shows. This role will be in charge of maintaining a recording calendar with guests/hosts schedules, finding appropriate contact channels, writing and crafting compelling pitches, and assisting in acquisition research. This is a part-time remote position working with distributed teams and talent.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Calendar Management

• Aligning hosts’ availability/recording blocks with guest availability
• Overseeing the recording calendar
• Scheduling recordings (Zoom and Riverside)
• Confirming all recordings

Guest Acquisition

• Finding channels/contacts for high-profile guests
• Writing and crafting compelling pitches
• Overall relationship management with guests, publicists, and talent managers

Reporting

• Regular touch points with producers and talent on the status of guest acquisition efforts
• Project management calendar upkeep for scheduled recordings

Required Proficiencies

Tools & Software

• The ideal candidate must be proficient in critical communication tools (email, texting, social media direct messaging, WhatsApp)
• Google Calendar, Monday.com project management boards, Zoom/Riverside scheduling interfaces
