In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end Smart Factory and MES solutions on the Ignition platform, leading requirements analysis and solution design, building scalable applications, developing Python scripts, optimizing SQL solutions, managing deployments, and maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

Technical Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience with Ignition Perspective (UI design, bindings, session handling, performance optimization).
• Solid understanding of SCADA fundamentals, including real-time data acquisition, alarms, historians, redundancy, and high availability.
• Strong knowledge of MES and Smart Factory concepts, including production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, genealogy, and traceability.
• Advanced Python scripting skills within the Ignition platform.
• Proven experience implementing Hexagonal or MVC architecture in enterprise applications.
• Advanced SQL and RDBMS skills, including stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Experience integrating with industrial systems and protocols (PLCs, Kepware, MQTT, historians – preferred).
• Hands-on experience with GIT, automated deployments, and Agile development practices (JIRA or Azure Board).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based industrial solutions is a plus.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
• 6+ years of experience in Ignition, MES, SCADA, or Smart Factory solutions.
• Proven experience delivering industrial applications end to end, including production support.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations.
• Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
