Job Description
AOS Publishing is a small independent publisher located in Montreal, seeking a freelance designer to create book covers. This casual role offers flexible deadlines, allowing candidates to work in a low-stress environment while earning extra income and enjoying the creative process. All work is completed remotely and can be scheduled according to the freelancer’s convenience, provided that deadlines are met.
The designer will receive a brief description of the cover’s vision, specific sizing details for the cover and spine width, as well as comparable covers from the company’s catalogue for reference and design emulation.
Compensation starts at $150 per cover, with the potential for increases based on the designer’s reliability and ability to meet AOS Publishing’s standards.
