Job Description

Siemens Digital Industries Software (DI SW) is a global software company offering a wide range of solutions including CAD, 3D modeling, simulation, High Performance computing, and Production Management. The Data and AI Innovation team delivers scalable AI and data solutions to support global customers with a customer-centric approach. We are seeking a Senior UX Design Developer to shape and optimize user-centric experiences for data and AI solutions used by our global sales organization, focusing on improving solution delivery at scale and aligning with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise software and web application development, with a focus on user experience quality. Responsibilities include:

• UI Design System Alignment: Ensuring consistency and brand alignment across applications based on the Siemens UX design system.
• UX Development & Quality Assurance: Developing and quality-checking user experiences ensuring usability, accessibility, and performance standards.
• User Flow Research & Optimization: Conducting research to optimize user journeys for specific use cases.
• Multi-functional Collaboration & Process Improvement: Collaborating with teams to analyze business processes and identify improvement areas.
• Agile Implementation & Optimization: Applying agile methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Advocacy & Adoption: Advocating for customers and business needs in organization-wide initiatives.
• Performance Measurement: Developing systems to track progress and identify improvements.

Requirements

The role requires the following skills and experiences:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Front-end Development Knowledge: Experience delivering enterprise solutions, preferably on AWS or other Cloud platforms.
• Understanding of Agile: Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency with UX Research Methodologies: Experience with A/B Testing, Cognitive walkthrough, Behavior Analytics, and Usability Metrics.
• Tailored Communication: Ability to document and communicate project plans effectively to diverse partners.

Complimentary Qualifications

• Experience in a globally distributed organization.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, distributed systems, data architecture, or SaaS technologies.
• Understanding of Business-Driven Design and process engineering.
• 2+ years in a research, design, develop, observe, and renew cycle with a proven portfolio.

Exceptional Qualifications

• Familiarity with Siemens DISW portfolio and related domains, such as PLM, CAD, CAM, CAE, IoT.
• Experience designing and developing for Sales Force, Sales Dashboards, and AI interfaces.

Compensation

The annual target salary range for this position is $112,800 CAD to $162,800 CAD, with eligibility for incentive compensation. Actual compensation will be based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
