Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UX Design Developer for our Data and AI Innovation team. This role aims to shape and optimize user-centric experiences for AI and data solutions utilized by our global sales organization. You will analyze, design, and continuously improve user experiences while collaborating closely with your Engineering Manager and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a senior role.

Experience: Demonstrated ability to deliver enterprise solutions as a Senior UX Designer, particularly in a production environment using AWS or other Cloud Provider platforms. Minimum 2 years in a research, design, develop, observe and renew development cycle with a proven portfolio.

Technical Skills:

• Front-end development knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, distributed systems, data architecture, and/or Software as a Service (SaaS)
• Proficiency with UX research methodologies such as A/B Testing, Cognitive walkthrough, Behavior Analytics, and Usability Metrics.
• Experience designing and developing for Sales Force, Sales Dashboards, and AI interactive interfaces

Process & Collaboration:

• Experience working with Agile methodologies (BDD, TDD) to drive the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Excellent communication skills to document and verbally communicate project plans and technical details to diverse teams

Key Responsibilities

• Aligning with UI Design System to ensure consistency in applications.
• Developing and quality-checking user experience for applications to meet usability and accessibility standards.
• Conducting user flow research and optimizing user journeys.
• Collaborating with multi-functional teams to analyze current processes and identify improvement areas.
• Applying agile practices to enhance process efficiency and quality.
• Driving advocacy and adoption of organizational initiatives among teams.
• Creating performance metrics to track progress and improvement opportunities.

Complimentary Qualifications

• Experience in a globally distributed organization.
• Understanding of Business-Driven Design and Development methodologies.
• Ability to foster process engineering and data-informed optimization.

Exceptional Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Siemens DISW portfolio including domains like PLM, CAD, CAM, CAE, IOT.

Compensation

The annual target salary for this position ranges from $112,800 CAD to $162,800 CAD, with added eligibility for incentive compensation. The actual compensation is based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and education.
