Job Description

Join our team to create engaging, accessible user experiences through modern Drupal theming and component-based design. As a Drupal Frontend Developer, you’ll implement design systems, optimize frontend performance, and work within the Acquia ecosystem to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Implement component-based design systems within Drupal themes using Single Directory Components.
  • Create accessible, responsive frontend experiences following web standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Drupal themes that integrate seamlessly with backend functionality.
  • Work effectively within the Acquia platform ecosystem including Cloud IDE.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement cohesive user experiences.
  • Apply frontend JavaScript frameworks and tools to enhance site interactivity and performance.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Drupal theming architecture and best practices.
  • Experience implementing component-based design systems in Drupal environments.
  • Proficiency with Single Directory Components and modern Drupal theming approaches.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and how to implement them in frontend code.
  • Familiarity with frontend JavaScript frameworks and build tools for modern web development.
  • Experience with the Acquia platform and its product ecosystem including Cloud IDE.
  • Drupal site building experience with understanding of content structure and display.
  • Knowledge of Drupal AI capabilities and Drupal Canvas is a plus.

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The salary range is $110,000 - $145,000, based on factors such as geographic location, experience, credentials, and the demand for the role.
