Job Description

Directive Consulting is the leading B2B performance marketing agency focused on delivering real revenue through its proprietary Customer Generation methodology. We are seeking a Content Strategist, also internally known as an Account Strategist, Content & SEO, who will play a crucial, client-facing role. This role involves daily client deliverables, managing custom strategies, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. The strategist will oversee Enterprise clients and develop holistic marketing strategies by leveraging service line understanding. Responsibilities also include using historical performance and ongoing campaigns to optimize strategies, crafting creative briefs, and running compelling content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of implementing SEO principles and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building. Candidates must possess analytical skills to evaluate website traffic and SEO metrics using tools such as Google Analytics. Strong organizational, project, and time management skills are essential, along with a genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content creation. Experience in goal setting based on data sources, project management using Asana, and effective communication with clients and internal leadership is required.
