Job Description

Golden Steps ABA is looking for a talented and detail-oriented copywriter/content creator to support its marketing and communications efforts on a contract basis. This role will collaborate closely with the marketing and leadership teams to craft compelling messaging across digital, print, and campaign materials. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging copy that connects with audiences and drives action.

Requirements

• Write and edit high-quality copy for various channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams to align messaging with brand voice and strategic goals.
• Translate technical or industry concepts into accessible, engaging language.
• Support campaign development with messaging, headlines, and calls to action.
• Participate in campaign ideation as a proactive contributor.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences (customers, partners, employees, etc.).
• Help maintain and evolve brand voice guidelines.
• A creative problem-solver with a strong visual eye and attention to detail.
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva.
• Comfortable working independently with quick turnaround times and shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with branding principles and accessibility-conscious design.
• Bonus: Experience working with healthcare or mission-driven brands.
