Job Description

We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer with a few years of experience to join our client’s team in the Brentwood, TN area. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports to support the organization’s decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, build data models, and create insightful Power BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI and will be familiar with Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement data models and ensure efficient data connections from various sources, including Azure.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
• Participate in data integration efforts and work with other team members to ensure data consistency across the organization.
• Ensure the security of data and reports by managing appropriate access and permissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with Power BI.
• Strong proficiency with DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, including data storage and integration.
• Knowledge of data modeling and relational databases.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft tools and technologies such as Excel, SQL Server, or Azure Synapse.
• Ability to work on-site in Brentwood, TN, with potential for hybrid work depending on project needs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools.
• Previous experience working in a Microsoft shop with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL, SSAS, or other business intelligence tools.

Salary and Location

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year, depending on experience

Location: Brentwood, TN (On-Site or Hybrid)
