Role Overview: Oracle Cloud Developer – HCM (ORC)

Technical/Functional Split: 70/30 or 60/40

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support a lean, highly customized Oracle environment where developers often wear multiple hats.
• Serve as an end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM developer, from design through deployment.
• Lead ORC development, including Journeys and workflow creation.
• Build custom solutions using VBCS, APEX, SQL, OIC, and other PaaS tools.
• Manage system architecture, workflow automation, integrations, and compliance.
• Develop dashboards, custom reports, and troubleshoot payroll-related issues.
• Use Fast Formulas and Payroll Flows to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Assist with Oracle Cloud security responsibilities (a strong plus).

Requirements

Top Required Skills:

• Senior-level Oracle Cloud development experience.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM design, integration, and optimization.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• HCM Extracts.
• Fast Formulas.
• Ability to build custom solutions from scratch using:
• VBCS, APEX, ATP, PL/SQL, SQL.
• Strong API and web services integration experience.
• ETL development knowledge and familiarity with ETL tools.
• OTBI reporting.
• Advanced SQL/PLSQL; preferred experience with jQuery, HTML, JavaScript.
