Pink Zebra is an innovative direct sales company with over 25 years of experience in the home fragrance and décor industry. We are dedicated to offering unique, customizable products that allow customers to create personalized scents and décor that reflect their individual style and personality.

We are seeking a talented Freelance Props Stylist to join our creative team to assist with product and vignette styling of fragrance products and home décor accessories. The qualified candidate will assist with the set-up and execution of studio photography and videography, as well as maintaining in-house seasonal displays. Your expertise will help bring our brand’s visual storytelling to life, ensuring each presentation captures the essence of Pink Zebra’s unique and customizable products. This position offers flexible freelance opportunities for individuals passionate about styling, merchandising, and visual presentation.

The key to this role will be understanding past and emerging design trends in order to create compelling vignettes that showcase products and fragrance.

Responsibilities

• Style products for both photo and video production.
• Serve as a hand model for photography and video, demonstrating the product in use. Nails must be clean and professional at all times, and there should be no large or visible tattoos from the elbow down.
• Prepare sets for live video production.
• Create and maintain in-house seasonal displays, as well as set up displays for special visits.
• Collaborate with the creative team on styling needs for Annual Reunion, including but not limited to set design, product displays, and store displays.
• Identify, source, purchase, and return props as needed for photography or video production.
• Maintain organization of prop storage areas and coordinate the movement of props as needed for photo shoots and video production.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with photographers, videographers, and designers.
• Stay current on home décor trends and propose styling and set ideas to the creative team.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to implement current styling trends that elevate products and support increased sales.
• Be available to work extended hours during photo shoots or video productions.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Perform additional duties and projects as requested.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to complete projects on time.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and accurately.
• Passionate interest in home décor and visual displays, with an understanding of how they contribute to sales.
• Familiarity with design characteristics and knowledge of visual display essentials.
• A strong eye for color, detail, and product functionality.

Physical Requirements

• This position requires constant movement with minimal stationary time.
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to perform a full range of motion to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight or confined spaces.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move objects up to 40 lbs. in all directions.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps.
• Possess both gross and fine motor skills to work with large and small components.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive long distances.
• Understanding of design and ability to draw freehand are a plus.
