Job Description

This is a remote position for a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud-Native & Networking) with a salary range of 150-165k + bonus/benefits. The role is focused on providing a seamless “at-home” Wi-Fi experience globally while transitioning the central authentication platform to an AWS cloud-native environment. The selected candidate will architect software systems that interact with network devices in an Agile/Scrum environment.

The role will involve building scalable, security-hardened services that manage device lifecycles and authentication workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ Years of Engineering: Proven track record of shipping complex, scalable products.
• The “Network Intuition”: Understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalling; ability to integrate software and hardware.
• AWS Expertise: Deep experience in AWS systems, specifically with Serverless architecture.
• Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with RADIUS and certificate-based authentication is a major plus.
• Tooling: Experience with MikroTik devices and RouterOS is highly desirable, though experience with other networking hardware/APIs will also be considered.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Linux (CLI), Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation).
