Job Description

We are currently growing our creative team and looking for experienced wedding photographers and videographers to work with us on a contract basis throughout the year. These positions are designed for professionals who are comfortable covering full wedding days (generally 6–10 hours) and occasionally assisting with engagement sessions, portraits, or other short-form shoots. We value creatives who produce clean, well-exposed imagery, communicate clearly with clients, arrive prepared, and represent our brand professionally at every event.

Requirements

Lead Photographer Requirements

• Preferably (not required) Canon camera systems
• Minimum gear expectation:
• 2 camera bodies (2018 or newer)
• At least three lenses capable of covering 35mm, 50mm, and 70–200mm ranges
• External flash
• Strong indoor flash technique with clean bounce flash and controlled ambient lighting
• Ability to cover a full wedding day independently
• Willingness to upload RAW files and maintain backups for up to 45 days
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional client interaction
• Portfolio demonstrating consistent, clean, timeless wedding work
• Ability to photograph engagement sessions or bridal portraits

Lead Videographer Requirements

• Canon or Sony camera systems
• Minimum equipment expectations:
• Two camera bodies
• Wide and zoom lenses
• Two audio sources/microphones for wedding-day audio capture
• Gimbal or stabilization system
• Lighting source
• Drone capability is a plus but not required
• Ability to film weddings independently while maintaining stable footage
• Consistent exposure and white balance (no mixed lighting)
• Reliable workflow for transferring footage and maintaining backups for 45 days
• A polished reel demonstrating stable, well-lit storytelling

Professional Appearance

Team members are expected to arrive dressed in professional attire appropriate for formal wedding environments. Our goal is to blend in naturally with guests while maintaining a polished presence. For photographers and videographers, this generally means black or neutral-colored clothing. Items such as jeans, polos, shorts, and athletic footwear are not permitted.

Payment Terms

Compensation is issued after all RAW files or video footage are delivered and verified by our headquarters team. Payments are issued the Friday following successful file delivery and confirmation.

Onboarding & Certification

All shooters complete approximately 6–7 hours of online onboarding covering our brand standards, shooting workflow, and file delivery process. Before receiving your first assignment, a short certification assessment must be completed. This onboarding process ensures that every photographer and videographer on our team delivers a consistent, high-quality experience for our couples.

Compensation: $20–$75 per hour (varies based on experience level, role as lead or second shooter, equipment provided, and specific event requirements)

Typical Schedule: Based on booked wedding dates – most events take place on weekends

Event Duration: Most weddings range from 6–10 hours, with occasional portrait sessions around 1.5 hours depending on the client’s contract
