Job Description

Sandpiper is the “un-lease,” a digital marketplace connecting short-term rental (STR) owners with renters seeking flexibility without long-term commitments. We are looking for a Gen Z-fluent Content Creator who specializes in Generative AI and D2C Social Media. The role will focus on creating engaging content that embodies “Main Character Energy,” inspiring viewers to explore new cities for short stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • The “Vibe” Architect: Utilize Veo 3 and Runway to generate aesthetic and lo-fi lifestyle footage, creating visuals that resonate with the target audience.
  • D2C Hook Mastery: Write and produce engaging hooks for TikTok and IG Reels, effectively structuring content to maximize audience retention.
  • Native Platform Editing: Mastery in CapCut and TikTok’s native editor, pairing trending audio with AI visuals for an organic feel.
  • Persona-Led Storytelling: Tailor content for specific Gen Z subcultures, including Digital Nomads, ‘Soft Life’ Advocates, and Career Starters.
  • AI-Voice Synthesis: Utilize ElevenLabs for relatable, human-sounding storytelling that feels personal and approachable.

Qualifications

  • Gen Z Content Literacy: Familiarity with current aesthetics, memes, transitions, and UGC-style content.
  • AI Video Fluency: Expert-level proficiency in AI tools like Veo 3, Sora, or Luma to produce high-quality visuals.
  • Fast Fashion Pace: Ability to produce multiple high-quality video remixes in a short period.
  • Data-Informed: Experience in analyzing retention data to refine content for improved engagement.

Portfolio Test

Applicants should submit a link to a TikTok or Reel (AI or manual) that demonstrates high engagement, rather than a PDF portfolio. A suggested project is to create a “Cost of Living” video showcasing the advantages of renting through Sandpiper compared to traditional hotel options.

Compensation and Location

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
