Job Description
RBK London is an independent label established in 2012 that bridges the gap between able and disabled artists by fostering equal opportunities in music. Founded by CEO and Creative Director Mr. N Alexander, the company offers artist development, event management, fashion initiatives, and an online magazine to empower artists of all abilities. Positioned as the “Paralympics of the music industry,” RBK London enables disabled individuals to record music, create unique brands, and build credible careers in the music industry. The label is committed to inclusivity and innovation within an ever-evolving music landscape.
We are currently hiring a Music Plugger (Freelance) for our development team. We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Music Plugger to work with independent artists and releases across a wide range of genres. This is a fixed-rate role paying £400 per artist release, ideal for someone who is proactive, organised, and passionate about breaking new music and establishing connections.
Requirements
Proven experience as a music plugger or in music promotion.
Connections to commercial radio stations and urban background.
Strong industry contacts across multiple platforms.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience in club promotions.
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Genuine passion for discovering and promoting new music.
Securing artist airplay and releases.
Familiarity with DJ & club promotion.
Connections with music tastemakers & influencers.
Knowledge of genre-specific platforms and outlets.
Experience in sync & industry outreach (where relevant).
Ability to provide campaign reporting and artist feedback.

Payment
The payment for this role is a fixed fee of £400 per artist plugging booking on a freelance/contract basis.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Music Performance and knowledge of the Music Industry.
Experience in Music Production and Music Education.
Strong connections within the Music Industry and familiarity with industry trends.
Excellent communication, networking, and promotional skills.
Ability to work independently and engage productively in an on-site setting.
Passion for advancing inclusivity and empowering artists of all abilities.
