JOB DESCRIPTION

VeeFriends is a contemporary entertainment company that blends art, storytelling, collecting, events, and innovative technologies to build a community around a movement of kindness and positivity. We’re expanding our live commerce capabilities and are seeking charismatic, high-energy freelance livestream hosts to bring VeeFriends products and stories to life across platforms like TikTok Live, Whatnot, eBay Live, and Fanatics Live. This is a unique opportunity for those who love performing, connecting with audiences, and showcasing collectibles in a dynamic, interactive format.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong on-camera presence with confidence performing live
• Self-starter, high-energy, entertaining, and comfortable improvising in the moment
• Familiarity with the collectibles industry and a passion for understanding market trends, pricing, emerging technology platforms, and digital consumer trends
• Available for late-night and/or weekend livestreams consistently and is reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing regular reports.
• Experienced with livestreaming, breaking TCGs, or sales-driven content (preferred, but not required)
• Familiarity with live commerce platforms and creator culture, or experience in a retail environment
• Excited to build your personal style, voice, and presence within the VeeFriends ecosystem
• Preferred experience with Excel, OBS, Streamyard, and any other streaming backend systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Host high-energy, interactive livestreams from our NYC locations (LIC and Hudson Yards)
• Lead card breaks, product reveals, and community-driven segments
• Use livestream tools and platforms such as TikTok Live, Whatnot, eBay Live, and others
• Maintain strong viewer retention and keep audiences engaged throughout each show
• Bring storytelling, humor, and personality to every broadcast
• Help communicate the value and attributes of VeeFriends collectibles
• Encourage viewer interaction and drive product purchases in an authentic, entertaining way
• Collaborate with the team to develop show formats, recurring segments, or signature host moments
• Complete post-stream recaps and participate in occasional content capture for promotional materials

TERMS & COMPENSATION

• Freelance, 1099 independent contractor role
• Compensation: $25–$30/hour, based on experience and show assignments
• All work must be performed on-site at VeeFriends NYC locations
• No employee benefits are offered
• Opportunities for rate increases based on performance and livestream metrics
• Top-performing hosts may be considered for recurring programming, expanded hours, and special project opportunities
