Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging website layouts using wireframing tools like Figma, InVision, or Balsamiq, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
• Create responsive web designs that adapt flawlessly across desktops, tablets, and smartphones utilizing HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and other front-end frameworks.
• Implement interaction design principles to enhance user experience (UX) through intuitive navigation, motion graphics, and dynamic elements using JavaScript, Angular, React, or AJAX.
• Develop and optimize websites for SEO best practices to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
• Maintain and update existing websites built on content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint; perform regular website maintenance and security updates.
• Collaborate with developers to translate visual concepts into functional code using web development languages including HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Python, SQL, and MySQL.
• Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to analyze user behavior data for continuous improvement of digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing website projects emphasizing layout design, typography, and visual design.
• Proficiency in interaction design, wireframing tools (Figma, Adobe XD), and usability principles to create user-centric interfaces.
• Skilled in front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), and responsive web design techniques.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusive digital experiences for all users.
• Experience with graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects for motion graphics and visual content creation.
• Knowledge of SEO strategies and web analytics tools to measure performance metrics effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of web server management and content management systems like WordPress or Drupal is preferred.

Additional Information

Pay: $26.53 - $31.95 per hour
