Music Video

My song is being released later this year and I am looking for someone to make an animated music video for it. The music is similar to early Coldplay (Parachutes) and some of Radiohead’s and Thom Yorke’s piano songs. It has a jazz-rock atmosphere that’s very moody and melancholy. I am a singer-songwriter based in Salmon Arm, BC. I recently recorded a debut LP and now want to create a music video with 2D animation to accompany one of my tracks.

Who are you, and what do you do?
Levi Taschuk is a 28 year old singer-songwriter based in the small town of Salmon Arm, BC. His songwriting practice developed a little later in life, beginning in his early twenties, but he’s been a life-long and obsessive listener which has helped him make up for the lost time . His influences range from Bach to Brahms; Chet Baker to Stevie Wonder; Nick Drake to Sibylle Baier; Coldplay to Radiohead; and the list goes on. In 2024 he had the opportunity to spend a week in New York, recording a three-track EP with producers Miles Hewitt and Karl Helander, a project for which he managed to recruit Jake Falby (Julie Byrne, Mutual Benefit) to perform violin on. Taschuk then began work on his forthcoming, debut LP, Dyna Dyvest, in May 2024, finishing the recording process about a year-and-a-half later.
