I am looking for a freelancer to take my raw API documentation and turn it into a beginner-friendly Markdown file (README.md). The goal is to create a concise, easy-to-follow 3-page quick start guide for a REST API. This project is for a personal use, and I need someone who can deliver high quality work in a short timeframe. The work is fully remote and may lead to additional follow up tasks if successful.

Section 1: Prerequisites
Before you can make your first request to the ExamplePay API, ensure you have the following environment set up:

Python 3.7+: Installed on your local machine.

Pip: Python package manager for installing libraries.

Requests Library: Install it via terminal using: pip install requests

ExamplePay Account: A registered developer account at developer.examplepay.com.

Section 2: Authentication
The ExamplePay API uses Bearer Token authentication to secure your data.

Log in to your Developer Dashboard.

Navigate to Settings > API Keys.

Click “Generate New Secret Key”.

Copy the key immediately. For security, we only show this key once.

Store this key as an environment variable in your terminal:
export EXAMPLEPAY_API_KEY=‘your_secret_key_here’

Section 3: First Request (“Hello World”)
This Python script allows you to verify your connection by retrieving your account balance. Save this code as test_connection.py.
