Job Description

MassBay fosters educational excellence and academic success to prepare students for local and global citizenship while promoting personal growth, meeting workforce demands, and contributing to economic development. This part-time, non-unit position is located in Wellesley Hills and will join the Institute for Trauma, Adversity, and Resilience in Higher Education to create a short video that conveys educational content on trauma-informed higher education practices. The role is seasonal, consisting of 120 hours total, through August 15th, 2026.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field;
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.);
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.);
• Strong creative vision with an eye for storytelling and composition;
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
• Creative mindset with the ability to create engaging and visually appealing content;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
• Ability to work in an organized manner and demonstrate commitment to tasks;
• Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in graphic design college-level degree-seeking program;
• Motion graphic experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action;
• Experience working in a community college or similar environment;
• Demonstrated commitment to working with students in need.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $25.00 per hour

Position Type: PT - Seasonal/Temporary
