Job Description
This is a temporary, three-month contract position from March 25, 2026, to May 25, 2026. The web developer of the Tribal Buffalo Market Initiative will create a fully functional website for the sale of buffalo meat harvested from lands enrolled in the Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) program. The developer will collaborate with the AMP team and a graphic designer to understand the program, implement branding, and provide a platform for Tribes to market their buffalo meat. The role also involves outreach and education efforts as part of the initiative.
Requirements
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Web Development
- 1+ year of specialized experience developing sales-focused websites
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to organize and analyze information, communicate effectively, and write clearly and concisely.
- Sensitivity to Native American environmental issues and concerns.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Must be at least 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
Additional Information
Supervision:
- Under the supervision of the Grant Coordinator and the Executive Director.
Working Conditions:
- Approximately 100% of the work is remote.
- This is a three-month contract position (March 2026 - May 2026).
Compensation and Benefits:
- DOE, range $15,000 - $20,000.
- This contract position has no benefits.
