Job Description

A luxury local retail store is seeking a highly independent Content Creator to produce polished marketing campaigns for email, Instagram, and related digital channels. This role is ideal for someone with a strong visual eye, excellent taste, and the ability to take an idea from concept to finished campaign with minimal supervision. The creator will be responsible for identifying featured items in-store, sourcing or producing imagery, writing compelling copy, and assembling professional layouts that reflect a luxury brand aesthetic.

Requirements

• Highly self-directed and able to work independently
• Strong visual taste appropriate for luxury retail
• Skilled in photo editing, layout design, and copywriting
• Comfortable using AI tools and modern design software
• Efficient and able to move quickly without sacrificing quality
• Resourceful in sourcing imagery and creating assets

Key Responsibilities

• Visit the store in person to select and photograph featured items when needed
• Source vendor-provided imagery or take original photos as appropriate
• Edit and refine images using AI tools or traditional editing tools
• Write concise, compelling marketing copy suitable for luxury retail
• Design campaign layouts for email and social media
• Maintain a refined visual aesthetic consistent with a luxury brand
• Complete campaigns quickly to remain relevant to changing fashion seasons

Campaign Production Process (Required Workflow)

Each campaign follows a strict approval structure:

• Concept Proposal – Present campaign idea (approx. 15 minutes preparation) → approval
• Rough Draft – Initial layout and copy (<2 labor hours) → approval
• Graphic Acquisition – Gather imagery, photos, and assets (<6 labor hours) → approval
• Final Layout – Typography, formatting, and composition (<2 labor hours)
• Final Presentation – Submit finished campaign (email / Instagram format) → approval

Total production time per campaign must be no longer than one week from concept to final delivery.

Compensation Structure

• $200 – $1,000 per fully approved campaign
• Payment varies based on complexity and production requirements
• Approximately 20 campaigns annually

Important Expectation

This role requires a creator who takes ownership of the entire process. The ideal candidate researches products, selects visuals, and develops copy independently rather than relying on the business owner to supply images or messaging.
