Job Description

We are looking to hire a dependable and skilled Web Developer to assist in enhancing and extending our custom web-based scheduling and booking application. The selected candidate will assist the lead developer in feature development, bug fixes, and performance enhancements. This job is perfect for you if you enjoy coding on real-world applications, coding well, and working together without corporate drama.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and enhance features for the web-based application.
• Fix bugs and improve existing modules.
• Assist in optimizing performance and security.
• Collaborate on database design and API integrations.
• Follow best practices in coding, documentation, and version control.
• Participate in planning and technical discussions (async most of the time).

Requirements

• Strong experience with PHP (Laravel with Livewire) or similar MVC frameworks.
• Solid understanding of MySQL or relational databases.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with APIs.
• Experience using Git (GitHub or similar).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with React or Vue.
• Basic knowledge of AWS or cloud hosting.
• Understanding of scheduling or booking systems.
• Experience working on SaaS or internal business tools.
• Networking skills a plus.

Additional Information

Job Types: Contract, Temporary.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 10.0 per week.
