Freelance Content Creator (Video + Social + Blog) – Plumbing & HVAC

Location: Temecula / Murrieta, CA (On-Site Filming + Remote Work)

Job Type: Freelance / Contract

Pay: $2,000 – $2,800/month (based on experience)

Guardian Plumbing, Heating & Air is a fast-growing, family-owned home service company serving Southern California. We’re building a strong online presence and looking for a results-driven content creator to help us dominate social media, YouTube, and Google search.

This is NOT just a videographer role. We’re looking for someone who can take one piece of content and turn it into multiple assets that drive traffic, engagement, and leads.

Film → Edit → Repurpose → Post → Convert

Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Film 2 long-form videos per month (5–10 minutes each)
• Capture on-site footage of jobs, technicians, and customer interactions
• Use your own professional equipment (camera, audio, drone preferred)

Video Editing

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (5–10 minutes)
• Slice content into short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Create 20+ short-form videos per month

Content Repurposing

• Transcribe long-form videos and turn them into 2 SEO-optimized blog posts/month
• Upload videos to YouTube and embed them on our website

Social Media Management

• Post 5 times per week across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Write captions and optimize posts for engagement

Strategy

• Identify trends and create content that generates calls, leads, and booked jobs
• Collaborate with our team to capture real, authentic content

Requirements

• Must be a freelancer / contractor
• Must own your own equipment:
• Professional camera (photo/video)
• Audio gear
• Drone (preferred)
• Editing software
• Proven experience with:
• Short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• YouTube content
• Social media posting
• Ability to film on-site in the Temecula / Murrieta area
• Portfolio required (please include links)

Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred)

• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or home services
• SEO blog writing experience
• Understanding of content that converts (not just looks good)
• Experience with paid social or content-driven lead generation

• Consistent posting (5x per week)
• High-quality, engaging content
• Growth in followers and engagement
• Content that drives website traffic, calls, and booked jobs

Deliverables

• 2 long-form videos
• 2 blogs

Compensation

• $2,000 – $2,800/month (based on experience)
