Job Description

Lucky Green Ladies is seeking a reliable and creative freelance social media contractor to support content creation and account management for our cannabis retail and delivery operations in New York and Massachusetts. This is a monthly contract role (1099) focused on delivering consistent, high-quality content—not hourly work.

Requirements

• Must provide a portfolio or examples of past work
• Must be able to consistently meet posting cadence and deadlines
• Must be comfortable working with multiple locations/accounts

Scope of Work

• Publish ~3 feed posts per week per account (NY + MA) across Instagram and Facebook
• Create and manage a mix of:
• Graphics (typically 1–2 per week, up to 5 in a heavy promo week)
• Product/in-store content
• Reposts (customer/vendor content)
• Develop and follow a monthly content calendar
• Maintain consistent posting cadence (no bulk posting)
• Engagement tasks:
• Review messages/comments once daily (Mon–Fri)
• Respond to NY inquiries
• Forward MA inquiries to Owner and MA General Manager
• Coordinate occasional vendor-feature content

Compensation

• $1,000/month (flat rate)
• Paid monthly upon completion of deliverables

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience managing business social media accounts
• Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
• Ability to create content efficiently (not overcomplicate every post)
• Organized and self-managed
• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
• Familiarity with cannabis marketing rules is a plus

Important Notes

• This is a 1099 independent contractor role (not W-2 employment)
• Contractor controls their own schedule and workflow
• You will be required to submit a W-9 prior to payment
• This role is non-exclusive, but you may not work with directly competing dispensaries in NY or MA during the contract
