Job Description

Social Prosperity Partners is seeking a part-time independent contractor to help steward and grow the ecosystem surrounding each episode of their weekly podcast, Community Catalysts. This includes guest recruitment, episode positioning, promotion, audience growth, and maintaining relationships with past guests. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer, strategic thinker, and relationship builder who understands audience growth in a nonpartisan civic space. This is an ongoing engagement with growth potential.

Responsibilities

Guest Recruitment & Relationship Stewardship

• Research and identify aligned civic leaders nationwide
• Conduct outreach to elected officials, public administrators, and nonprofit executives
• Manage scheduling logistics and maintain a simple guest pipeline and tracking system
• Develop ways to sustain relationships with guests after their episode airs
• Explore ideas to keep the Community Catalysts network active over time

Episode Positioning & Promotion

• Write compelling episode titles and craft engaging episode descriptions
• Pull strong quotes for promotional use
• Draft newsletter announcements
• Write LinkedIn and other professional social posts
• Identify cross-promotion opportunities
• Track basic episode performance metrics and suggest improvements

Sponsorship Development (Support Role; not a Sales Position)

• Identify mission-aligned sponsorship opportunities
• Conduct research on prospective sponsors
• Support the development of sponsorship materials or proposals
• Help coordinate outreach and stewardship of sponsor relationships
