Job Description

The role involves writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code while adhering to good software-development practices. You will work closely with delivery leads and team members to understand project requirements, create and maintain software documentation, and develop interactive media and applications to meet client needs. It is essential to ensure design consistency with client’s development standards and to maintain professional hygiene by reporting time accurately and adhering to organizational policies. Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Skills:

• Proficiency in writing clean code in HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML/JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Ability to read, understand, and edit basic HTML structure for DOM manipulation.
• Understanding of JavaScript/jQuery basics, DOM manipulation, and basic event handling.
• Familiarity with XML/JSON integration and handling.
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Basic knowledge of responsive design using fluid grids.

Communication and Coordination:

• Proficient in English for workplace conversations, emails, and chats.
• Capable of understanding project processes and raising concerns through verbal or written communication.
• Ability to effectively discuss daily progress and project-related issues with the team lead.
• Strong listening skills to comprehend context and implications of spoken language.

Process and Technology:

• Understanding and following standards and checklists for all deliverables.
• Openness to learning new processes and technologies as required.
• Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams while adhering to templates and processes.
