Job Description

The client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Virtual Assistant to support its marketing team across three key brands: Bata Industrials (safety footwear), Bata Outlet, and Rieker (comfort fashion footwear). In this role, you will play a key part in executing digital marketing initiatives, managing social media presence, and supporting brand growth across multiple platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, analyze performance, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Responsibilities

As a Social Media & Digital Marketing VA:

1. Social Media & Content Creation:

• Create engaging content (graphics and short-form videos) for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok for Bata Industrials AU & NZ.
• Assist with content planning, including monthly calendars and feed curation.
• Write captions aligned with each brand’s tone of voice.
• Schedule and publish content, managing approvals and revisions.

1. Social Media Market Research & Strategy:

• Conduct competitor analysis and monitor industry trends.
• Identify content opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Support ongoing optimization based on performance insights.

1. Creator & Influencer Management:

• Source relevant creators for gifted and paid collaborations.
• Manage outreach, communication, and relationships.
• Assist with negotiations, agreements, and deliverables.
• Track campaigns and performance using Excel or similar tools.

1. Paid & Digital Advertising:

• Support the management of social media ads (Meta / boosted content).
• Assist with budget tracking and reporting.
• Support digital campaigns across platforms, including Google Ads.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in Social Media & Digital Marketing with 3 to 5 years of experience.
3. Experience in social media management and content creation.
4. Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook platforms.
5. Experience with short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn).
6. Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
7. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
8. Strong written English and communication skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
10. Has a portfolio (VERY important).

Bonus Skills

1. Experience working with influencers or creator campaigns.
2. Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite).
3. Experience in retail, fashion, or footwear brands.
