Job Description

We are looking for a strong Backend Java Engineer with hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and high‑performance backend systems. You will work with Java, REST APIs, and Microservices to build core components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Build clean, scalable, and well-documented REST APIs.
  • Optimize service performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Integrate with internal and external systems leveraging REST and messaging systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams.
  • Implement automated tests (unit, integration, contract testing).
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+.
  • Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data.
  • Deep understanding of REST API design, JSON, API versioning, error-handling patterns.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Docker, Git, and basic CI/CD workflows.
  • Familiarity with messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platform is an advantage.
  • Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and performance tuning skills.
