The role involves supporting the Creative Director and Design team in delivering forward-thinking print and digital designs that enhance the Ole Henriksen and Lip Lab brand experiences. This includes planning, managing, and executing strategic brand assets from concept to completion.
The salary range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00 per hour and the role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location in San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Ole Henriksen and Lip Lab Design team with creative solutions that meet business objectives
- Create design assets for digital marketing needs
- Design print and digital assets, focusing on ecommerce, social media, and digital advertising
- Deliver design projects on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure adherence to brand standards in typography, print and digital design, visual merchandising, video, and photography
- Present projects for feedback and approval to cross-functional teams
- Support small to medium-scale photoshoots
- Collaborate regularly with Brand Management, Marketing, Project Management, and Content Marketing teams
- Design elevated creative assets within strict and fast-paced timelines
- Maintain and advance the creative vision for Ole Henriksen and Lip Lab brands
REQUIREMENTS
- College degree: BA or BFA preferred or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer for a beauty/fashion retailer or creative agency
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Strong understanding of retail print production, typography, grid systems, UI/UX, and responsive design frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills; detail-oriented; excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with diverse teams across various disciplines
- Passion for and knowledge of current skincare and beauty trends
- Awareness of digital and print design trends
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and driven to excel
- A collaborative team player
- Experience in motion graphics, CGI, and AI is a plus
