Job Description

The Trade Table (thetradetable.com) is a home improvement e-commerce brand looking to build a YouTube channel filled with practical, expert-level content from real tradespeople. We are seeking plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, general contractors, and other skilled professionals to create short videos that explain real-world topics they are already knowledgeable about. The role involves recording your expertise on camera with no need for editing or production work.

Requirements

• Skilled Trades Background: Candidates must have experience as plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, general contractors, appliance repair professionals, or similar hands-on home improvement trades.
• Experience & Communication: Must have real, hands-on experience (not theoretical) and the ability to clearly explain concepts in a conversational manner. Candidates should feel comfortable speaking on camera.
• Reliability: Ability to consistently deliver videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Record short expert videos on various topics or skills from your trade.
• Ensure content is clear, practical, and straight to the point.
• Choose topics such as operation explanations, troubleshooting issues, common mistakes, tips for homeowners, etc.
• Use a simple recording setup, such as a phone, in a relevant environment like a job site or garage.
• Submit unedited video files, as our team will handle editing, thumbnails, titles, and publishing.

Compensation & Details

• Pay: $25 per video
• Time Commitment: Less than 1 hour per video
• Location: Remote
