Comic Illustrator [Searching]
Comic Illustrator is needed in Los Angeles, United States.
I am looking for an artist to collaborate with on a personal comic project (currently weighing options with the writer as to specific choice). We are looking for an artist to handle panel layouts and pencils. Requirements:
- Clear pencil art
- Experience with drawing backgrounds in perspective
- Experience with creating layouts for comics panels
Your responsibility will be creating a clear visual scaffolding for me, as inking and shading artist, to build on.
The work will be mostly remote, but I do want a collaborator based in the greater LA area for periodic in-person meetings with me and the writer.
Budget range:
$200-400/day (depending on experience level)
Who are you, and what do you do?
I am an art generalist who’s been dabbling in comics for a few years. My most extensive experience in that medium was working on a pitch zine for a YA paranormal mystery series handling every visual aspect past layouts and pencils (e.g. inking, compositing, graphic design)
