Job Description

The role involves maintaining and enhancing an on-premises Tomcat/Java J2EE product while focusing on performance tuning, security improvements, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to customers, diagnose Java issues, and collaborate with the team to support cloud offerings.

Job Timings: Mon - Fri US EST time zone

Job Location: Morocco (Remote)

Experience Required: 10 years

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Java J2EE development.
  • Strong understanding of Windows development and server environments.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance an on-premises Tomcat/Java J2EE product.
  • Address performance tuning, dependency updates, and security improvements.
  • Diagnose and resolve Java out-of-memory issues and analyze dump files.
  • Provide exceptional support to customers in the field, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless transition and support for cloud offerings.

  • Java
  • Struts
  • Hibernate

Server & Tools:

  • Tomcat
  • Windows SQL Server
  • InstallShield

Key Competencies

  • Performance tuning and optimization.
