Job Description

We are seeking proficient Apparel Technical Designers who will be responsible for creating initial development tech packs, building POMs, BOMs, and construction callouts, and assigning fit specifications for prototypes from design sketches. The role involves measuring samples from the proto through production process stages, checking construction and quality alignment with design requests, and effectively communicating any fit, specification, or construction issues.

Requirements

• Experience in creating tech packs and working with prototypes.
• Ability to measure samples and prepare them for fitting.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, with the ability to diagram fit/spec/construction issues.
• Experience in leading fittings and collaborating with teams.
• Basic understanding of patterns and pattern corrections; ability to read and understand patterns is a must.
• Organizational skills to track and manage the workflow of assigned products.
• Team-oriented mentality with a focus on clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• CAD sketching skills and knowledge of sweaters are a plus.
• Pattern making ability is preferred.
