Job Description

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full stack applications utilizing Java (Spring Boot) on the back end, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue on the front end. Key responsibilities include leading the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, collaborating with product owners and cross-functional teams, designing and consuming RESTful APIs, building responsive UI components, and actively contributing to DevOps practices. Candidates will participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, analyze and document software solutions, ensure timely time tracking for billing, and provide mentorship to team members.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates should have 8-11 years of experience as an Application Developer, with proven expertise in full stack development, particularly in Java, Spring, and front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue). Strong proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and cloud platforms is essential. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps tools, and modern security protocols is expected, along with excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Selenium.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile and Hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software integration and IT infrastructure.
• Skilled at identifying gaps in existing systems and designing targeted solutions.

Location

• Local candidates ONLY. Must be located within 2 hours of Dimondale, MI at time of submission.
• Hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence from day 1, 2-5 days per week at the manager’s discretion. No remote-only option.
• Working hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorships are not available.
• Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment.

Employment Terms

• This is a W2 position.
• 40 hours per week.
• Hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence as described above.
